Position Description
Summary: This position provides administrative assistance for the Vice President for Advancement and the Executive Director/Special Assistant to the President for Innovation and University Partnerships.
Qualifications
- Experience Required: 1 year of general office experience
- Skills & Characteristics: Basic knowledge of MS Office, attention to detail, ability to work independently, organizational skills
Dress Code & Conditions: Business casual; N/A for special working conditions; No background check required.
Primary Duties:
- Use Microsoft Office in design of spreadsheets, documents, tables, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Work independently using strong organizational skills and creative marketing abilities.
- Perform general office duties such as filing, proofreading, typing correspondence, and data entry.
- Assist with event logistics and coordination.
- Create graphics and social media content.
- Support day-to-day operations of the Division, University Partnerships, and Messiah Business Institute.
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
Secondary Duties: Other duties as assigned by the Executive Coordinator and Project Manager of Advancement and University Partnerships.
