About the Opportunity:
CRA Consulting is delighted to be working with a leading global law firm that is looking to recruit a Paralegal Supervisor into their Legal Services Unit. This centralised team provides critical support to high-value real estate transactions, particularly within the energy and utilities sectors. This role offers a rare opportunity to step into a leadership position, where you will supervise a team of Assistant Paralegals, Paralegals, and Senior Paralegals.
You will oversee key transaction work, including:
- Acquisition of substation and radio sites
- Lease management and renewals
- Wayleaves, easements, and variations
The position will be based in Manchester, Sheffield, Glasgow or Edinburgh, offering an excellent hybrid working policy and real opportunities for career progression.
Role Responsibilities:
- Review and allocate incoming client instructions across the team
- Monitor team capacity and ensure appropriate workload distribution
- Support paralegals with transactional queries and client updates
- Track matter progress and maintain data rooms and online trackers
- Manage conflict checks and matter opening processes
- Participate in client calls and internal operational meetings
- Lead people management duties including onboarding, holiday/sickness approval, wellbeing, training, and appraisals
- Oversee financial performance - WIP, time recording, balances and reporting
About You:
- At least 2 years' real estate experience, ideally with supervisory or team leadership exposure
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Detail-focused with a high level of professionalism
- Comfortable liaising with stakeholders at all levels
- Able to manage multiple deadlines effectively
- Proficient in legal technology and document management systems
- Proactive and collaborative, with a commercial mindset
