About The Role
As an Engineering Technician, you'll ensure the smooth operation of our automated Customer Fulfilment Centre in Erith GMDC. You will be the first responder to engineering faults, diagnosing and resolving issues swiftly. Your responsibilities include reactive maintenance, planned servicing, repairs, and proactive improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency. This hands-on role involves working with advanced technology in a fast-paced environment. This position requires working a shift pattern to support our 24/7 operations, including 12-hour shifts across days, nights, and weekends.
About You
We are looking for candidates with:
- Technical knowledge of automation hardware/software and control systems, with a preferred engineering qualification.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and a practical, hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and share knowledge effectively.
- Experience working at height using access equipment, adhering to safety standards.
