Salary: 32,760

Hours: 8am-5pm, Monday – Friday (willingness to offer some flexibility around working hours where required)

Immediate start for the right individual

Requirements: Full driving licence required

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Warehouse Manager to join a leading manufacturing company in the UK at their head office. This role involves working as part of a small team and playing a pivotal role in warehouse management, including:

1. Ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and distributed correctly
2. Leading and motivating team members
3. Receiving deliveries, stock takes, replenishments, picking, checking orders, loading, and dispatching
4. Conducting forklift and warehouse inspections to ensure safety standards

This energetic role requires the ability to develop warehouse operatives, build confidence, improve performance, and demonstrate strong communication, customer service, and IT skills. Forklift license (counterbalance or reach truck) is desirable but not essential.
