Main Purpose

To support the Active Communities Coordinator (Herefordshire) to ensure the operational and administrative tasks of the Feel Good For Life (FGFL) programme run smoothly.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  1. Support the Active Communities Coordinator (Herefordshire) with the delivery of activity programmes for older people and respond to community needs.
  2. Assist with the delivery of the Feel Good For Life programme for people living with dementia, loneliness, and depression by administering and supporting weekly sessions and promoting physical activity benefits.
  3. Provide administrative support for volunteer recruitment, induction, and recognition for the FGFL programme.
  4. Record outcomes, impact, participant feedback, and gather evidence for reporting to partners and stakeholders.
  5. Help deliver programmes effectively and efficiently.
  6. Liaise with local organizations in the third sector, health, and social services to manage referrals and registrations.
  7. In the absence of the ACC(H), deputise in delivering and coordinating weekly sessions.
  8. Assist in capturing the impact of the programme.
  9. Maintain knowledge of best practices in equality, diversity, and safeguarding.
