LHH is delighted to partner with Stirling Council as they seek a Workforce Planning and Organisational Development Assistant to join their Workforce Planning & Organisational Development team. At Stirling Council, our People services are key in supporting our organisation and our people in overcoming the challenges we face. We know it is critical for us to build these services to ensure that we have a People function with the resource and talent required to help achieve our council's aims and ambitions.

Our key priorities include driving forward best practice in policy and processes; delivering fully on our commitment to the Scottish Fair Work framework; and developing and embedding innovative and forward-thinking practice, all to effectively support the vital work we do for Stirling's communities.

This role will support the Workforce Planning and Development team by providing high quality business support. This role will involve carrying out business support activities related to recruitment, pre-employment checks, preboarding and onboarding of new employees, learning & training activities. You will complete tasks in relation to preboarding and onboarding such as creation of ID badges and working with colleagues in the technology team to ensure equipment is ready for new employees. This role will also be involved in booking training courses, training venues and equipment and supporting the course booking process.

We are looking for someone with great interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues, candidates and new employees. You will have experience of delivering effective business support activities within a busy team and have a good understanding of Microsoft Office suite. Ideally you will have some experience in learning needs analysis and learning & development planning.
