Hargreaves Industrial Services is a leading provider of contract operation and maintenance services. We are seeking a Multi-Functional Operator in Castleford, West Yorkshire. Working in the energy from waste (EfW) industry offers environmental, technological, and societal benefits, making it an attractive career. The role involves:
- Attending meetings and training sessions
- Complying with Safe Working Procedures
- Operating mobile plant including front end loaders, forklifts, telehandlers, scissor lifts
- Traffic management duties
- Cleaning the tipping hall
- Supporting daily operations of the EfW plant
- Maintaining plant and equipment in safe, clean condition
- Providing field support when needed
- Supporting secondary roles, including industrial cleaning duties
- Working on a shift rota, including occasional Saturdays
The ideal candidate will have:
- Good communication skills at all levels
- Excellent IT system knowledge
- NPORS qualification to operate mobile plant (essential)
- Problem-solving skills
- Flexibility and teamwork
- Ability to work independently
- Understanding of Health & Safety and Safe Working Procedures
- Good timekeeping and willingness to work overtime
