Job Details

• Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
• Assisting dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary.
• Assisting the dentist with procedures as needed.
• Providing excellent patient care.
• Recording treatment information in patient records.
• Exposing dental x-rays and caring for dental x-ray equipment.
• Educating patients on dental hygiene, oral health, and plaque control programs.
• Collecting and recording medical and dental histories and vital signs.
• Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
• Forming preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations.
• Fabricating temporary restorations and custom impressions.
• Ordering dental supplies and maintaining inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Type

Full-time

Salary

$20-$25 hourly with a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred.
• Self-motivated, organized, with a positive attitude.
• Good understanding of dental terminology.
• Excellent communication and written skills.
• Strong public relations skills.
• Ability to work well with patients and team members.
• Experience in delivering high-level customer service.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible to stay late as needed.
