Welder fabricator

Overview

Welder / Fabricator (TIG/MIG) – NVQ level 3

Location: M62 corridor – West Yorkshire (near Normanton). Salary: £16.85 per hour plus overtime as below.

Responsibilities

• Read and work from engineering drawings with minimum supervision.
• Weld using TIG/MIG processes on light-gauge material; stainless steel experience essential; aluminium experience advantageous.
• Maintain neat workmanship and comply with quality standards.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in welding/fabrication or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication; proficient in TIG and MIG welding.
• Ability to work from engineering drawings; able to work with minimal supervision.
• Flexible to work Mon-Fri 38.75 hours or a 4-day week (Mon-Thu 7:00-17:15) with overtime on Fri/Sat/Sun as specified.

Compensation & Hours

• Base: £16.85 per hour. Overtime: Fri/Sat £25.28/h, Sun £33.70/h.
• Standard hours: 38.75 per week; option to a 4-day week with listed hours.
