Organisation: Rehabilitation Manufacturing Services Ltd
Closing Date: 02/06/2025
Freedom? Well, not in a Braveheart shouty out sort of way…but if you feel your skills as an experienced Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist are being restricted in your current workplace then please do read on. Who are we? With nearly 50 years of experience, Rehabilitation Manufacturing Services (RMS) has earned a reputation as a trusted British manufacturer of innovative posture and mobility solutions. We work closely with the NHS, specialist schools, child development centres, and families across the UK, remaining firmly committed to those who use our products and those who care for them. Now we have a brand new role for an experienced Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to join our passionate team based in the South East. This is a rewarding opportunity to apply your clinical expertise in a role that blends hands-on assessment with product development and training support — all aimed at improving outcomes for people of all ages.
The Role: – No two days the same! Your clinical knowledge will be key in shaping and supporting our range of seating and mobility products – Carrying out holistic assessments to ensure individuals receive the most appropriate and effective equipment for their needs. – Working alongside our R&D team to support product development, including field trials and feedback reporting. – Producing evidence-based case studies that highlight the clinical value and real-world benefits of our solutions. That is just for starters! We are a collaborative team, where you will be contributing your skills and insights to all areas of the business.
Key Skills & Experience: – You will be a qualified Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist, ideally with experience in posture and mobility, wheelchair seating, or specialist education settings. – Comfortable working independently, but also keen to contribute to a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. – A thoughtful communicator who understands the importance of evidence-based practice and clear clinical reasoning. – A keen interest in clinical research, the latest developments, and working to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
PLEASE NOTE: Although this role is advertised as Full Time and based at our Head Office, we are flexible to consider other options that suit your life/work balance, including Part Time options (pro rata salary.) We do operate nationally, but most of the work will be in the Kent, South East, and London area. Please feel free to state your working preferences in your application. Freedom and flexibility, together with an interest in ongoing innovations? If that appeals then we would love to hear from you.
