A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a MIG Welder to join a well-known UK engineering manufacturer in the Cornwall area. This role offers variety, long-term progression, growth, and career development within the company.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on safety practices and welding techniques.
- Use correct processes while maintaining safety standards.
- Pay close attention to detail, assess welds for quality, and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain accurate documentation for the quality department.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet daily production schedules, deadlines, and targets.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- High-skilled welder with 2+ years of experience.
- Good knowledge of MIG welding on different metals and thicknesses.
- Experience with materials and components according to technical drawings and specifications.
Package and Benefits:
- Salary: £27,000
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays

- Training provided for Crane and Forklift licenses
- Overtime paid at time and 1/3 for the first 2 hours, then time and ½ after 2 hours
