Job Summary: Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains cleanliness of coffee and cashier stations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts; help with catering orders.
- Perform cashier duties using the POS system.
- Conduct general cleaning; remove trash to designated areas.
- Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
- Handle cashiering with accuracy, maintain receipts, and make deposits at shift end.
- Inventory and restock supplies and food products.
- Set up serving lines, monitor food temperatures, and notify cooks if issues arise.
- Serve hot and cold items to customers.
- Prepare items for purchase daily.
- Stock and rotate refrigerator products using FIFO; record temperatures.
- Maintain pantry par levels and document replenishments and temperatures daily.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
