Assisting with the day-to-day management of the entire complex and supervising all staff. The position requires working a flexible shift pattern to provide management cover at all times, and applicants must be 18 or older.

To deliver a high-quality, effective, and efficient service to users of Goals facilities and to assist the General Manager in developing sales and marketing plans to promote and maximize income opportunities.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Supervising all employees, including reception, bar, and security staff, ensuring the highest standards of service are provided to all customers and guests.
  • Contributing to the development of 3-6 monthly sales and marketing activities, focusing on weekend and off-peak periods.
  • Assisting the General Manager with recruiting and selecting all non-managerial staff.
  • Ensuring sound administration procedures are followed in line with the Company Operations Manual and that reporting procedures are adhered to.
  • Implementing the Company Health & Safety policy and training key staff in first aid and emergency evacuation procedures.
  • Attending weekly management meetings and chairing occasional meetings with other staff designations.
  • Following cash and stock reconciliation procedures as per Company policy.
  • Maintaining all facilities, fixtures, and fittings within the club to a high standard internally and externally.
  • Coordinating the ordering of stock, goods, and services to ensure smooth and effective operation.
