We are supporting a client who is recruiting a BI Analyst to work closely with key stakeholders to develop and enhance reporting and insights to help shape decisions for the business. This is a permanent role. Candidates must have full right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities of the BI Analyst:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements and design data visualisations and reporting tools that meet their specific needs.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by conducting regular data audits and implementing data quality improvement processes.
  • Analyse and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business growth and profitability.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue optimisation strategies.
  • Provide timely and relevant ad-hoc analysis and insights to support decision-making processes and address business challenges.
  • Promote the use of reporting and visualisation tools across the organisation by delivering training sessions, creating user-friendly documentation, and providing ongoing support to end-users.
  • Continuously seek feedback from stakeholders to improve reporting and visualisation processes, ensuring that they are intuitive and valuable for decision-makers.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the key performance indicators (KPIs) and business processes that the reporting and visualisation tools support, allowing for informed decision-making and improved business performance.

Requirements for the BI Analyst:

  • Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel proficiency, to effectively analyse data sets, uncover insights, and generate accurate reports.
