Job Title: Lightning Protection Fitter

Location: South West region of the UK

Package: To £40,000

Travel: Frequent travel which may include overnight stays

The Role

1. Lightning Protection Fitters are required to travel to customer sites and install equipment to the client’s satisfaction in a safe and efficient manner.
2. The role will involve producing paperwork in accordance with standard operating procedures and ensuring an up-to-date working knowledge of the current code of practice for protection of structures against lightning (BSEN62305) is maintained.
3. Applicants will ideally be experienced lightning conductor fitters with industry experience and hold a current CSCS card (having passed the Health & Safety test), however, training will be offered to the right candidate.
4. A willingness to travel is vital, along with an ability to work away from home on occasion.

What You’ll Need

1. Lightning Protection Fitter / Engineer experience
2. Full Driving Licence
3. CSCS
4. IEC 62305 / BSEN 62305
5. Working at height training certificate
6. Willingness to travel
