As a Yard Customer Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our operations, providing outstanding service to our customers and ensuring they leave with a smile. You'll be the first point of contact for customers visiting our yard, and you'll play a key role in making sure everything runs smoothly.
What You'll Be Doing?
- Providing exceptional customer service – You'll be the friendly face that customers see when they visit, getting to know them by name and ensuring they have the best experience possible.
- Outdoor work – You'll spend most of your time outside, helping process customer orders, loading and unloading both customer and company vehicles.
- Stock management – You'll assist with unloading supplier deliveries and accurately booking in products in the branch warehouse.
- Forklift operation – While experience with a forklift is beneficial, don't worry – full training in MHE equipment will be provided.
- Maintaining safety standards – Safety is a top priority, and you'll play a key role in ensuring our yard is tidy, well-organised, and safe for both customers and colleagues.
