DevOps Engineer (£80k + 10% bonus)

Fantastic opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to join an ecommerce scale-up in Manchester.

The company has the backing of a FTSE 250 business and launched to the public late 2020 with a full UK wide TV advertising campaign.

As a DevOps Engineer, you’d be part of a product engineering department that is in the process of growing to almost 300 people and would play a key role in shaping their culture, systems, and overall approach to software engineering.

In this role, you’d be the DevOps advocate within a single squad and would have a huge opportunity to influence the principles and practices used by the team, inspiring and enabling them to do their best work.

The existing group is very open-minded; they work as integrated, multi-disciplinary agile teams who value diversity and teamwork over individual heroics. You’d be working alongside product, data, and delivery professionals, as well as other software engineers who are passionate about using quality practices like TDD, Pair Programming, and DevOps.

They are flexible on your tech background, but they use:

1. Serverless AWS
2. CDK for IaC
3. TypeScript

The salary is up to £80,000 plus company benefits including a 10% bonus, pension, certifications, and regular remote/flexible working.
