We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our team on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce development, with a proven track record of delivering complex solutions in a consulting environment. This role requires deep expertise in Salesforce platform capabilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, providing technical expertise and recommendations.
- Develop integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and other integration tools.
- Perform data migrations and ensure data integrity within Salesforce.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications and integrations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features, releases, and best practices, incorporating them into development processes.
Requirements
- Experience: 6-10 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development.
- Certifications: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II, Salesforce Certified Administrator, and other relevant certifications preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (Aura and LWC), and SOQL/SOSL.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, including workflows, process builders, and validation rules.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware solutions.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Salesforce DX.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
Location: Based in the UK, with the ability to work remotely and travel occasionally for client meetings if required.
