Capgemini Cloud Infrastructure Services (CIS) UK has the largest Projects & Consulting (P&C) practice in CIS globally - covering all of the CIS portfolio. We work on a range of exciting projects for many different clients across all sectors.

The Senior Enterprise Architect operates within the Edge capability, leading the strategic planning and execution of customer migrations to Windows 11. This role involves designing and implementing the architecture necessary to support the migration, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations, and optimising the IT infrastructure for future scalability and efficiency.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time. You will be required to be on-site 2 days per week in Salisbury.

Your role as an Enterprise Architect includes:

  • Developing and implementing strategies for transitioning from on-premises management to cloud-native management using Microsoft Intune and Autopilot.
  • Collaborating with project stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Creating, testing, and deploying application packages using industry-standard tools and methodologies, including Microsoft Intune and SCCM.
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance on best practices for modern management and troubleshooting.
  • Ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements in all activities.
  • Documenting processes, procedures, and configurations to support the transition and ongoing management.

Your skills and experience:

  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and cloud-native technologies.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and Microsoft Intune/Autopilot.
  • Strong understanding of posture control technologies, such as Ivanti/Heat Device & Application Control.
  • Experience in migrating user home drives to OneDrive to facilitate remote working.
  • Proficiency in application packaging techniques (MSI/MSIX) and compatibility testing.
  • Understanding of security policies and compliance requirements, particularly in high-security environments.

Your security clearance: To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
