Senior Data Engineer, Stockport/Remote, Up to £80k

Fantastic opportunity to help a market leading software company define the way in which they use data. They have previously outsourced the data model but want to start utilising all their products and keeping it all in house.

You will be acting as the Technical Lead within the Data Services team on this project taking charge of project direction for the new solution in a cloud based environment (AWS) and mentoring/coaching the more junior team members around system design & architecture. The plan is to build a Data lake using S3 so experience in this is important along with Amazon ETL tools such as Glue.

The aim of this product is to enable customers to gain vast insight with the data that they hold within the software they provide to them already.

Post September, the policy on remote working will be a hybrid model with 2-3 days working from home. The start & finish times are flexible in order to create a better work-life balance.

• Automation tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
