Backend Rust Engineer Outside IR35 Fully Remote

We are partnered with a VC-backed R&D start-up based in London who are looking to hire a Senior Rust Engineer to lead on a backend project within the fintech space. This role is outside IR35 and is initially for 3 months. The team is working on building cutting-edge products around MEV (Maximum Extractible Value).

The founders are seeking similar-minded entrepreneurs to join them on their current mission. Strong expertise in Rust, Azure, and Docker is essential for this initial statement of work. We require technology-focused engineers with a preference for back-end application engineering. You will be responsible for developing their core infrastructure in Rust, which includes enhancing low-latency services and block building.

Requirements

1. 2 years of experience developing with Rust (in production)
2. Experience building distributed systems
3. Experience working with low-latency, concurrent systems
4. Interest in Azure and containerization
5. Fully remote within the UK
