The incumbent plans, schedules, and drives all maintenance activities such as Predictive/Preventive, Corrective Maintenance, Modification Projects & Facility maintenance involving various engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation to optimize utilization of resources and facilitate safe, smooth, cost-effective, and timely execution.

The incumbent provides organization, planning, and direction of maintenance, technical changes/improvements, and technical documentation. Lead the maintenance team to deliver plant reliability and ensure a safe working environment in the plant.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Manage and drive EHS culture by leading the maintenance team and emphasizing corporate EHS policy and culture. Actively participate in EH&S activities, initiate/share best practices, and drive continuous improvement in EHS topics.
  • Lead team members to achieve optimized maintenance planning and enable high-performance operations consistent with the plant management strategy.
  • Identify and drive need-based development plans for the maintenance team.
  • Drive plant predictive/preventive maintenance planning, scheduling, and safe execution, including the Mechanical Integrity program, in a cost-effective manner without compromising safety and quality goals.
  • Drive plant reliability by constantly reviewing corrective maintenance data and the effectiveness of the predictive/preventive maintenance program using various tools (e.g., RCA, RBM, RCM, FMEA) and inspection techniques (e.g., oil analyses, other NDT).
  • Execute need-based facility-related maintenance.
  • Ensure all maintenance information (e.g., equipment history records and fault reports) is accurately and promptly updated and maintained in SAP and other formats.
  • Track maintenance department-related KPIs closely to find improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure support and compliance with work processes related to SAP, Management System (ISO 9001 & 14001), MOC, procurement process, and related corporate requirements such as Binding Technical Document (BTD).
