Position Overview
This role will be responsible for Manufacturing Components to Works Order, Drawings & Specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Promoting by example site H&S in the day to day conduct of this role.
- Ensuring that all tasks are carried out safely and in accordance with Company safety guidelines.
- To manufacture components as detailed on Works Orders, drawings and specifications utilising tools and equipment within your scope of authorisation and competency.
- Maintaining a high level of quality/accuracy when producing components required.
- Report any non-conformances on components that may occur during manufacture.
- Record labour hours (time taken) to manufacture components required on Works Orders and or other devices supplied.
- Cover in other areas of the operation within your scope of competency as and when business requirements are dictated.
- Maintain identification of materials and or components regardless of what stage they are in manufacture.
- Report machine malfunctions and when they occur so that repairs can be conducted.
- Take good care of Machine Tools, Equipment and Tooling. Reporting to your Team Leader any concerns regarding suitability for use and or condition etc.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area/environment.

- Commitment: Highly motivated, with a pro-active approach to workload. Confident and determined approach. Happy to at times work to strictly deadlines and able to plan work according to timescales. Can work alone and use initiative but also a team player who can help and support others.
Qualification/Skills/Experience
- Apprentice trained in Fabrication/Welding (not Essential but would be an advantage).
- Must be willing to work overtime when required.
- High attention to detail and self-motivation skills.
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
- Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.
- Work in a team environment and respect timescale/deliveries.

Responsible for ensuring all manufacturing is conducted within the dictates of ISO 9001 to the latest standard to ensure quality objectives are monitored and maintained.
