Full-time (permanent) office based in Warrington, Cheshire, located just 3 minutes from M56, Jct 10. Salary from £23,400 - £24,276. 7.5 hour day shifts, Monday to Friday, no weekends required.
We are growing and with our ambitious plans we are currently looking for the very best talent to join us. We need people who can think differently about how to solve problems. Therefore, we are recruiting a Scheduler to join our Planning, Scheduling & Dispatch (PS&D) department.
About this role: You will be joining a great team working within a fast-paced office, although in the current climate there may also be some working from home. This will represent a challenging role and fantastic opportunity for the right individual. Working flexibly within the team, you will deploy resource for all our business operations, as well as handling inbound and outbound telephony.
You will need to follow the appropriate processes to ensure that all our field-base operatives are attending and completing as many work orders as is practical - both in respect of compliance (client/contract response times being met) and also quality (sufficient time is allowed for works order completion).
Working collaboratively with the PS&D Manager, other schedulers, field-base operatives, and service leaders (leaders within Pennington Choices) you will build rapport and trust. You will be required to book as many appointments as is possible to support the delivery of asbestos surveys, gas and electrical audits, fire risk assessments, energy performance assessments, and stock condition surveys.
In addition, you must manage tenant enquiries in a friendly and helpful manner as well as responding to client enquiries promptly and professionally. Confidence with telephony and a high level of computer literacy is vital.
Responsibilities include:
- Scheduling responsive and planned appointments for field-based operatives across the business
- Being conversant utilising multiple works management systems
- Handling and resolving telephone and email enquiries from clients, tenants, and colleagues
- Proactive outbound telephone calls - persuading and influencing tenants to arrange appointments
- Liaising with, and directing, field-based operatives
- Sharing ideas and insight in order to continually improve the PS&D function including increasing appointments made, appointments kept, and properties accessed
- Understanding of each contract’s response times and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Identifying and escalating early warnings for risk to response times/SLAs, productivity outputs, and process
- Understanding the difference between planned and responsive works and the differing approach to each in order to manage demand and minimise cost.
