Senior Embedded Hardware Design Engineer Location: Hybrid / Harpenden, Hertfordshire Hours are flexible within office hours. As an Embedded Design Engineer, you will play an integral part in the business, utilising your embedded software experience and electronics. You will work in a small multidisciplinary team to develop exciting new electronic products for a wide range of applications, including medical devices, wearables and the Internet of Things. Write requirements and system design documentation Develop high-quality embedded software in C / C++ Work on bare-metal, RTOS, and embedded Linux environments Liaise with customers to assist with integration, commissioning, and problem resolution Have a good understanding of the compliance and standards process for electronic products This position involves occasional client meetings and writing technical reports, so a professional level of written and spoken communication is required. 5+ years of embedded software and electronics design experience ~ Degree in Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline (or apprenticeship) ~ Embedded C / C++ ~ Electronic Design ~ RTOS or Embedded Linux ~ Debugging software and hardware using JTAG, oscilloscopes, and serial comms ~ Write and speak English at a professional level Python Architect software and electronic designs Hybrid working (3 days in the office/ 2 days at home is standard. ~ Flexible hours ~25 days paid holiday (plus bank holiday) ~Training budget ~ Company Pension Contribution (
