As an Embedded Design Engineer, you will play an integral part in the business, utilising your embedded software experience and electronics. You will work in a small multidisciplinary team to develop exciting new electronic products for a wide range of applications, including medical devices, wearables and the Internet of Things. Write requirements and system design documentation Develop high-quality embedded software in C / C++ Work on bare-metal, RTOS, and embedded Linux environments Liaise with customers to assist with integration, commissioning, and problem resolution Have a good understanding of the compliance and standards process for electronic products This position involves occasional client meetings and writing technical reports, so a professional level of written and spoken communication is required. 5+ years of embedded software and electronics design experience ~ Degree in Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline (or apprenticeship) ~ Embedded C / C++ ~ Electronic Design ~ RTOS or Embedded Linux ~ Debugging software and hardware using JTAG, oscilloscopes, and serial comms ~ Write and speak English at a professional level Python Architect software and electronic designs Hybrid working (3 days in the office/ 2 days at home is standard. ~ Flexible hours ~25 days paid holiday (plus bank holiday) ~Training budget ~ Company Pension Contribution (
