Assistant Management Accountant

Your new role We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join this finance team on a 6-month contract. This role will support the Finance Manager in delivering accurate and timely management accounts, with a particular focus on working within Access Dimensions. Key duties will cover: Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts. Process journals, accruals, and prepayments accurately. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances. Support budgeting and forecasting processes. Maintain accurate financial records using Access Dimensions. Provide analysis and reporting to support decision-making. Liaise with internal departments to resolve queries and ensure compliance.
What you\’ll need to succeed Part-qualified accountant (AAT/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent experience. Strong working knowledge of Access Dimensions accounting software. Previous experience in management accounts or assistant accountant roles. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs). Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
