This is a full-time, permanent position with the option to work 2-3 days per week in our Croydon office for a balanced work experience.

We offer a role leading a multifaceted and ambitious team in our Commercial Schemes Division. As a Team Leader, you will provide first-line supervision, support, and mentoring to your team, delivering high-level professional advice to clients and achieving income, conversion, and retention targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and empower a team to meet standards and targets for income, conversion, and retention.
• Produce high-quality management reports including sales, conversion, source of business, and retention data.
• Ensure team compliance with policies and required authorisations.
• Provide consistent mentorship and training sessions.
• Troubleshoot client issues, including complaint resolution, with the compliance team.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail; process work efficiently.
• Prioritise work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate detailed client service skills with strong negotiation and broking capabilities.
• Maintain high standards of literacy and numeracy in all documentation and communications.
• Build sustainable relationships with team members and clients.
• Coordinate monthly compliance audits and provide feedback to the team.
• Identify and respond appropriately to varying levels of client understanding.
• Persuade and influence others; remain calm and resilient under pressure.

Experience & Professional Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years\\\’ experience providing specialist advice in the insurance market.
• Qualified to a minimum of Cert CII.
• Prior experience leading a team within a similar environment.
• Track record of delivering results with a client-focused approach.
• Insurance brokerage background with commercial experience.
• Fully competent in Microsoft Office products.

Knowledge

• Understanding of general and legal principles of insurance and relevant regulatory frameworks.
