Nurse Deputy Home Manager

An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in an exceptional nursing home based in the Norwich, Norfolk area. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers.

This nursing home is registered for older people, employing a team of staff skilled in person-centred nursing and dementia care.

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting and deputising for the Home Manager, providing inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and overseeing the delivery of high quality clinical and pastoral care.
• Act as the home’s nursing expert, combining nursing, managerial and leadership skills.
• Focus on residents with complex needs, ensuring compliance with the latest guidelines, taking far-reaching decisions and maintaining the highest levels of clinical governance, whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures.
• Care plan development and assessments.
• Look after all residents alongside the team and offer personalised centred care.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Previous Deputy Home Manager experience.
• The ability to engage with service users to understand their needs and provide excellent services of care.
• Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
• The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staffing teams.
• Good clinical skills.
• Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programmes within the home.

Benefits
