We are looking for a dynamic and commercially minded Business Unit Manager for our Nevill Long specialism namely drywall to drive performance and lead a successful sales team within our East London branch. This role will focus on achieving sales and profitability targets in key market sectors, while nurturing a stable client base and delivering exceptional customer service.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Achieve and exceed sales and margin targets in key sectors
- Develop strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Lead, motivate, and develop the Internal Sales team
- Collaborate with External Sales, Operations, and Suppliers to drive commercial performance
- Plan and execute sales strategies, promotions, and pricing initiatives
- Oversee compliance with company procedures, including credit control and health & safety
- Support recruitment, training, and development through the Encon Academy
- Drive continuous improvement in customer service and team performance
