PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Carl Zeiss Vision International are recruiting a Digital Project Manager to work within the Global Marketing Function. The Project Management team support the Global Marketing Function across the respective portfolios, with the initial demand for this vacancy within the Digital Business Transformation Team, who are conducting a programme to transform digital customer and consumer interfaces across all country markets within the Vision business.
The projects in this programme are strategic, and therefore have a high business impact and visibility at board level. As a result, we are recruiting for a project manager with experience of digital platform rollout projects.
This job role will work within projects that make up the DBT programme to manage the development and rollout activities to the next priority markets and to implement the global support concept for the digital solution that is being rolled out.

- Define a project’s scope and deliverables
- Leading global, cross-functional project teams in a matrix organisation
- Foster clear and direct communication across the entire project team
- Leverage international perspectives for best project results
- Resource planning and allocation
- Managing project within time, quality and cost parameters
- Appropriately apply methodologies to projects and deliverables, with variable levels of requirement maturity and embrace change to deliver maximum value

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Must have:
- Experience of delivering projects, applying project management methodologies, tools and techniques appropriately
- Capable of distilling complex concepts into succinct and understandable formats
- Comfortable working in remote and hybrid teams, with a willingness and ability to travel
Desirable:
- Proven experience of successful stakeholder management
- Project management qualification and experience in global projects
- Experience working within IT service delivery
- Experience working with authentication systems
- Demonstrated ability to deliver IT projects within a global organisation
- Familiarity working with a UX-focussed approach
- Degree qualified
