Senior Tax Manager Are you a confident and commercially minded tax leader looking to take the next step in your career? A well-established and respected accountancy practice based in Coventry is seeking a highly experienced Senior Tax Manager to join its growing tax department. This is a strategic hire that reflects the firm’s ongoing success and ambition, offering a clear path to Director level for the right person. You’ll be taking on a pivotal role with high levels of autonomy and responsibility, managing a broad portfolio of clients and overseeing complex tax matters across both compliance and advisory work. Role Responsibilities Lead the firm’s tax offering, managing a portfolio of high-value personal and corporate clients Deliver technical expertise on a wide range of matters including corporation tax, personal tax planning, capital gains, inheritance tax, and business structuring Handle and oversee complex advisory projects while ensuring quality compliance is maintained across the team Support and mentor junior team members, encouraging development and continuous improvement Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of the firm’s tax service line Liaise directly with clients, building long-term relationships and delivering a high standard of service Work closely with the partners to support wider firm strategy and succession planning About the Firm Based in the heart of Coventry, this independent accountancy firm is well known for its client-centric approach, long-standing reputation, and inclusive team culture.
