About the accountancy firm Pentagon Talent are delighted to be partnering with a vibrant and evolving Top 50 Accountancy Firm in the City of London to recruit for a Senior Accountant. You will be joining an expanding business services team where you will be challenged, supported, and able to develop your skill set. Our client prides themselves on going above and beyond in providing exceptional service to their varied client portfolios.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Serving as a main point of contact for a diverse portfolio of clients including small and medium-sized privately owned limited companies, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders.
  • Providing advice and support on financial matters.
  • Preparing year-end accounts and management accounts (50:50).
  • Reviewing and mentoring junior staff members.
  • Utilising software and tools to streamline operations and reporting.
  • Working on ad-hoc projects when required.

Qualifications and skills required

  • Have experience carrying out the full accounts production process.
  • Have the ability to work to budgets.
  • Have excellent communication and management skills.
  • Ideally have knowledge of Pro-audit and CCH.

  • Between the months of June and September, you are able to finish at 1pm on Fridays (Summer Fridays).
