This opportunity is genuinely with one of the most entrepreneurial FMCG businesses out there in the market, what I would call a sleeping giant. This business is looking to hire either a junior brand marketer with experience across both on and offline channels, or at the other end of the spectrum, they are open to a more senior candidate who has experience across the channels but can bring strategy, process, and direction to the table. The key here is for someone to come in and take initiative for the business’s marketing function.
The role will look at working in launching brands into retail, trade, events, and sampling, as well as most importantly social media, content, and PR management. They are looking for someone who is confident and isn’t afraid to create a buzz across social channels.
They have grown turnover by £5 million each year since 2022, from £10m to £25m! This is a highly autonomous business, which will see you take full ownership of the channels, with a focus on growing distribution and their brand portfolio. This business will be known by everyone in the next year or so, an amazing time to join them and be a major contributor to their upcoming growth!
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3–5+ years in a similar hybrid marketing/digital role (FMCG or startup preferred)
- Proven record growing brands via social and digital channels
- Experience managing multiple brand voices and fast-moving campaigns
- Excellent writing, storytelling, and digital-first design sensibilities
- Comfortable in a pacey, ever-changing commercial environment
- Bonus: FMCG retail understanding and creator/influencer experience
The business is based in Hampshire, where you will need to be commutable to the office around 2 days per week as a minimum.
If you’re looking for a new challenge where you can really get hands-on in an entrepreneurial business, this could be the one. I honestly don’t say this lightly, but these guys are going to be MASSIVE.
