An international, acquisitive organisation with ambitious plans seeks to appoint a technically astute finance manager in a group-based role leading a small local team whilst influencing a range of overseas stakeholders. This role is to cover for around a 3 Month period whilst waiting for the permanent hire to start.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the consolidated financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards, and providing strategic insights to support our business objectives. You will lead the preparation and consolidation of the financial statements for the group, ensure compliance with IFRS and other relevant accounting standards. Furthermore, you will manage the month-end closing processes, coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process, in addition to developing and implementing financial reporting policies and procedures. You will manage a small team to ensure deadlines are met in a timely and accurate manner.
You will bring strong technical accounting skills with a strong preference for candidates trained within a leading audit firm with deep knowledge of IFRS reporting requirements.
