Hygiene Manager - Food Manufacturing

Shift Pattern:Monday – Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm

Oliver Carol Recruitment has once again partnered on an exclusive basis with an aspirational food manufacturer, who continue to buck the trend in these unprecedented times, pressing forward with expansion plans, an aggressive hiring strategy and further diversifying their product portfolio.

This transformational journey has forced the business to expand a number of key departments, with Hygiene being the latest. We are therefore seeking a proven Hygiene Manager that can facilitate the augmentation that is required, increasing the overall team by 40%! This has to be achieved whilst ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained and not compromised.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing, reviewing and updating service documentation including risk assessments, method statements and training evidence
• Take an active role in customer visits and audits including the presentation and explanation of necessary due diligence information
• Monitor and challenge efficiency, service levels and labour utilisation in order to maximise operational effectiveness
• Maintenance of all paperwork associated with the above responsibilities ensuring compliance with legal and auditing standards at all times.

A prerequisite for this role is an FMCG Food Manufacturing background, coupled with a strong understanding of the microbiological hygiene standards required.
