TM Scotland Fife and the Lothians are pleased to offer Food Production work with their client based just outside of Cupar, Fife. Our client has been in business since 1976, growing approximately 2800 hectares of vegetables and salad crops across Scotland.
About the Role: As a Food Production Operative, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks within the factory, preparing fresh produce from field to shelf. No previous experience in food processing is required; full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality control of incoming fresh produce
- Grading and sizing produce
- Preparing produce by hand
- Working within Core, Prep, and Ready to Eat production areas
- Weighing, labelling, and packing
- Stacking finished produce onto pallets
- Other responsibilities after training, such as using machinery and food-safe chemicals
