Dunblane Primary School is seeking a motivated, self-organised, confident, and experienced Support for Learning Assistant to join our team from August 2025 to June 2026.

Our school is an exciting place to work and learn, with support and inclusion for young learners at the heart of everything we do. Our staff are forward-thinking and part of a friendly, warm team.

Our SLA staff work closely with teachers to design activities and programmes tailored to support children\’s learning effectively, whether outdoors, in groups, individually, or within the classroom.

Your role will also include supporting break times in the playground and lunch hall, helping children build good relationships and resolve conflicts through games or restorative conversations. As part of the SLA and wider school team, you will receive support and be expected to contribute positively to team efforts.

You will receive training on school principles and key considerations for working in the school.

The successful candidate must be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If shortlisted, you will need to complete the necessary forms and verification.

Additional Salary Information

• 30 days annual leave plus 7 public holidays (rising to 35 after 5 years of service)
