SEN / SEND Tutor
We are seeking dedicated tutors to support young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD / SLD) across West Yorkshire. The role involves 1:1 tuition, trauma‑informed mentoring and holistic CPD.

Role Responsibilities
- Planning each session of teaching, tutoring or mentoring
- Providing engaging, holistic sessions that meet learning and social‑emotional needs
- Completing lesson reports and giving feedback on progress
Requirements
- Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS)
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience
- Experience working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD or other Additional Educational Needs
- Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes
- Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
- Two professional references
- UK right to work; remote / online assignments supported
Employment Status
- Contract for service, paid via PAYE
- Short‑term engagements as they arise, no set work amount or expenses coverage
- Not self‑employed; we cover the work you do for us through our insurance
