About the company: I am currently working with a leading Automotive OEM based in Gaydon who are looking for a vehicle dynamics engineer to join them on a rolling contract basis 40 hours per week Inside IR35.

Skills:

  • Experienced Damper Build Engineer with proven track record of producing bespoke/prototype damper specification builds in a range of different damper technologies.
  • Good IT skills, experience of running rating measurement equipment and processing results.
  • Background in Automotive, either OEM, supplier or motorsport/specialist businesses.

Position would be joining a team of build engineers working on a double day-shift pattern and so this would be expected.

Education:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the field, Automotive OEM prototype, supplier or motorsport/specialist.
  • Physical, hands-on experience is essential.
  • Engineering degree or other formal relevant training/education is desirable.
  • Must be willing to take part in a mechanical trial/skills test hand building a damper.
