A major UK & International 3pl, 4pl, transport, logistics and freight organisation is looking for a Control Tower transport or Logistics assistant to ensure smooth logistics operations by handling day-to-day irregularities, liaising with customers and suppliers, and maintaining compliance with security, safety, company, and environmental regulations.
ROLE: Control tower Assistant
LOCATION: Bristol
BASIC SALARY: £23k
HOURS: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm.
ROLE:
- Responsible for logistics tasks with low to medium complexity
- Handle day-to-day operational challenges or irregularities, escalating when appropriate
- Provide excellent customer service by liaising with customers and suppliers
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Internal Operating Procedures (IOPs)
- Provide support for the team by completing additional tasks as required
- Ensure compliance with security, safety, company, and environmental regulations
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
