Home Tutor needed for SEND Students in Newcastle Under Lyme

Are you an experienced Tutor looking for a new challenge? Do you want the opportunity to enrich the lives of children with Special Needs?

A SEND school in Newcastle Under Lyme is urgently seeking a positive, enthusiastic Tutor to start immediately. The role involves working with students who have SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and challenging behaviors, so strong behavior management skills are essential. The Tutor will work with young people in their homes, supporting core subjects such as Maths, English, and Science.

The school provides an alternative curriculum for students aged who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education or are awaiting placement in a suitable SEN school.

As a Home Tutor, you should have a good standard of education and be able to identify areas for improvement on a 1:1 basis. The position is part-time with flexible hours.
