The Role
This role focuses on managing the setup and tenant move-in at the Priestley Building on the Surrey Research Park, Guildford, emphasizing \’science and technology\’ sectors. Building strong relationships with tenants and stakeholders to support their integration and operational needs is key.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead property management for \’science and technology\’ and office spaces, ensuring operational excellence and tenant satisfaction.
- Establish and oversee operational processes for tenants at Guildford.
- Support early tenant engagement and oversee fit-out assessments.
- Coordinate with on-site teams to maintain service standards.
- Develop strong relationships with tenants to understand and meet their needs.
- Implement sustainability strategies aligned with British Land’s 2030 goals, focusing on energy efficiency and waste reduction.
- Manage budgets and financial reporting for building services.
- Ensure health and safety compliance and act as Responsible Person and Fire Warden.
- Maintain property management manuals and adapt procedures for \’science and technology\’ operations.
- Oversee staff training and development, including sector-specific requirements.
- Procure and monitor building services and contractors.
- Apply principles of fabric management and long-term cost planning.
- Embed British Land’s vision and values into all aspects of building management.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in operational management of multi-occupied buildings.
- Experience with tendering and contractor management.
- Basic IT skills.
- Knowledge of fabric management and long-term costing.
