Weighbridge Operator

Paxton Personnel is seeking a dedicated Weighbridge Operator to join our client\’s team on a permanent basis in East Lothian. This role is vital in ensuring the efficient operation and accurate calibration of our weighbridge, maintaining high industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Weighbridge Management: Ensure correct operation and calibration of weighbridge equipment.
2. Despatch Analysis: Conduct analysis for all outgoing loads and generate certificates of analysis for contracts.
3. Record Keeping: Maintain weighbridge records to FEMAS/AUKM standards.
4. Data Coordination: Manage weighbridge ticket entry efficiently.
5. Laboratory Analysis: Conduct testing on product samples.
6. Sampling Duties: Collect samples from lorries throughout the year.
7. Sample Dispatch: Prepare and send samples to the central laboratory.
8. Support: Assist in the training and coordination of laboratory staff.
9. Export Documentation: Prepare necessary Customs and Excise paperwork.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in weighbridge operation or a related role.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to coordinate and work effectively within a team.
