Supply Desk are a nationwide education recruitment company specialising in Primary and SEND education. We place our teaching staff in day-to-day and long-term placements in an extensive number of Primary and Secondary schools across Sussex.

Supply Desk is seeking a passionate and dedicated Individual Needs Assistant to join one of the fantastic schools we service in Brighton in September. This role offers flexibility, with opportunities to make a real difference in the lives of young learners with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide 1:1 or small group support for children with SEN, adapting to their unique learning needs.
2. Create a positive, inclusive environment that promotes the well-being and development of every student.
3. Manage challenging behaviour, using appropriate de-escalation techniques.
4. Adapt to different school environments and work collaboratively with staff.

Requirements:

1. Experience working with children with SEN (including Autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties) is highly desirable.
2. A genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of children with SEN.
3. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
4. Current DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
