Are you looking for a Support Worker role where you will be rewarded and recognized within a fantastic team?
Then look no further! The Wilf Ward Family Trust has a great opportunity for you to join our team at one of our registered services, Stakesby Road. As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support for three individuals with complex health needs and learning disabilities at their home in Whitby.

No two days are the same, as the individuals we support require and receive 100% support in all aspects of their lives.

Some Day-to-day Tasks Include:

Personal care
Meal preparation
Monitoring, recording, and administering medication
Assistance with mobility
Accompanying individuals to activities such as cinema trips, shopping, eating out, arts and crafts, and swimming

You should be an effective communicator and be prepared to use different communication tools and methods, following the lead of the person you\’re communicating with, as we have a variety of communication styles. Flexibility is essential as the role includes working every other weekend with shifts on a rota basis covering mornings, afternoons, & evenings.
