Technical Support Engineer – Cyber Security Consultancy Junior to Mid-Level Salary: £28,000 – £37,000 dependent on experience Hybrid working – Outskirts of Cardiff. Need some flexibility to travel to sites across the UK. Eligible for SC Clearance. Technical Support Engineer opportunity joining a 15-20 employee Cyber Security company operating in the UK Defence sector. You will be based on their office on the outskirts of Cardiff on a hybrid basis with some travel to Bristol and Corsham to deliver technical projects and deliver training demonstrations to both teams and clients. You would work on an average of 3 days on site per week depending on which project phase you are working on (sometime phases will involve 4/5 days, sometimes just 1 day and remote working to complete documentation). All travel will be re-imbursed. They will provide training and knowledge transfers to fill any gaps in your knowledge. The role: Management / configuration of Azure virtual machines and virtual environments. Management / configuration of O365 (SharePoint, permissions groups, access control, security policies) Directory configuration, Server Building/VM building. Provide technical advice and guidance as ‘business as usual’. Support delivery of technical training projects to clients, presenting technical demonstrations and walkthroughs….
