The Role As Specifications Technologist, you will: * Creating and managing product specifications: Ensure all product specifications are up-to-date and compliant with relevant regulations and customer requirements. * Customer and supplier interaction: Act as the main point of contact for specification queries, liaising with both customers and suppliers to ensure alignment on product requirements. * Regulatory compliance: Stay updated with changing food legislation and industry standards, ensuring all products comply with food safety regulations, labelling requirements, and allergen declarations. * Internal documentation management: Maintain and track all specifications in the company’s system, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for all departments. * Support for product development: Work closely with the NPD (New Product Development) team to create specifications for new products, ensuring all technical aspects are covered. * Quality assurance support: Collaborate with the QA team to resolve any issues relating to product specifications and ensure consistency in production.
