Are you passionate about technology and eager to grow your career in IT and Application Support? We're looking for a driven and enthusiastic IT Technical Support Analyst to join a collaborative and forward-thinking team based in Reading, with hybrid working options.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Providing first-line technical support and delivering a world-class customer service experience
- Logging, prioritising, and resolving incidents and service requests efficiently
- Collaborating with 2nd Line, DevOps, and Engineering teams to investigate and resolve technical issues
- Contributing to the internal knowledge base to enhance first-line fault resolution
- Supporting internal users and ensuring smooth operation of IT systems
What We're Looking For:
- Strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail
- Previous experience in a technical service desk or IT support role
- A genuine interest in Application Support or Software Development career paths
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to take ownership and see issues through to resolution
- Minimum A-level education or equivalent
- Desirable (but not essential):
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification
- ITIL v3/v4 Foundation
- Basic troubleshooting skills in Windows, networking (LAN/WAN, IPs), and IT security
- Experience creating internal or customer-facing support documentation
