Load Builder

Overview

Salary: $18.00 hourly

The Associate is responsible for building loads for deliveries. Additionally, the Yard Person must maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard, load and unload lumber and/or building supplies, and operate a forklift. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

1. Build loads for delivery
2. Load and unload lumber and building supplies
3. Operate forklift
4. Keep management informed of any delays or discrepancies
5. Maintain a clean, well-organized, and safe lumber yard

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; effectively present information one-on-one
• Ability to apply common sense understanding and follow simple one- or two-step instructions; handle standardized situations with minimal variables
