Sales Assistant – Newent, Gloucestershire – Green Farm Seeds
We are excited to offer a new opportunity for a Sales Assistant to join our client's specialist seed supplier agribusiness in Gloucestershire.
Our Client's Business
We are an independent, specialist seed company supplying diverse products, including forage seeds, maize, game cover crops, amenity grasses, wildflowers, fertilisers, and silage inoculants. Serving a variety of sectors across the United Kingdom, our dedicated team of five operates from our base near Newent, Gloucestershire, focusing on personalised service and expertise.
Your Role
Roles and responsibilities will include:
– Client account management, responsible for maintaining positive client/customer relationships.
– Providing bespoke sales quotes
– Supporting the receptionist with call handling and message taking
– Maintain and develop the CRM system
– Oversee the website and social media
– Accompanying team members on-farm visits when required
– Supporting with sales order entry, ensuring efficiency
Qualifications & Licenses required
– A full UK Driving license.
– Proof of UK right to work
The successful candidate will:
– Have knowledge or experience working in an agriculture setting
– Be friendly, a good communicator
– Be willing to learn and confident to ask questions
– Show organisational skills and high attention to detail
– Have a positive working attitude and want to develop your knowledge
The Benefits
– £28,000 – £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience
– Monday – Friday, 37.5hrs per week
